Who We Are

The Emirat Shriners Turtle Unit is a volunteer, unincorporated association formed for fraternal purposes, the promotion of good fellowship among the Turtles of The Ancient and Honorable Order of Turtles and members of Shriners International; to further the interest of the fraternity through the unification of Turtles and thereby promoting Shrinedom membership and is further developed to support Temple fundraising activities or sales in support of Emirat Shriners Transportation Fund. The Unit and its members are under the direct jurisdiction and control of the Potentate of Emirat Shriners and shall adhere to the Bylaws, rules and regulations of Emirat Shriners and to the Bylaws and edicts of Shriners International.

All Turtles in good standing of the Ancient and Honorable Order of Turtles shall be eligible for membership in the Emirat Pond, Ancient and Honorable Order of Turtles, Friedrichstrasse 35, 65185 Wiesbaden, Germany and upon election and payment of fees hereafter provided for, shall be entitled to all rights and privileges of such membership.

Emirat Turtles may create new Turtles outside Unit membership so long as the proceeds from said creation is transferred to the Unit Secretary for proper documentation and further transferal to the Treasurer for disposition.
